73 Days Until Mid Term Elections
A lesson in civility...
As the nation mourns the passing of Senator John McCain, his life and legacy reminds us that we can agree to disagree. While reading through comments and tributes, you will find a common thread from mourners - I may have disagreed with your politics but I respected your commitment to the country over your party.
Our tempers often flare and emotions run high when discussing issues that are near and dear to our hearts such as immigration reform, affordable house, social security benefits and so much more but let us be mindful to be civil toward one another. We do not have to use our words to tear others down in order to lift our points. We can state our positions passionately, advocate aggressively and still show respect for the other person and their opinions.
